Placement for classes will be made regarding a student’s age, ability, and maturity. During the summer sessions, there will be a rotation of different teachers teaching the classes.

CECCHETTI SYLLABUS BALLET

Learning the Cecchetti method through a graded syllabus and with syllabus music, beginning with Primary work through the Maestro Cecchetti final Diploma.

NON-SYLLABUS BALLET

Exercises based on the Cecchetti level and above of the dancers with non-syllabus music.

POINTE | VARIATIONS BALLET

Once students are studying in the Grade 3 level, they begin pointe work. In the levels of Grade 5+ students take Pointe | Variations class, learning dances from the classic ballets.

CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN DANCE (CCD)

Combined with a non-syllabus class, or on it’s own; learning choreography in a contemporary, modern, jazz or lyrical style, with the use of interpretive movement and worship sign language, expressing the message of a song, or inspiration of scripture.

TAP

An exciting dance form full of rhythm, syncopation, and life. This class is fun, high energy class, developing coordination of feet and rhythm!

Classes must have a minimum of 5 students enrolled to be held.

Northville Ballet Tuition Rates and Policies

Registration Fee – $15 per student
Class payments are made monthly or by the semester. Full semester payments will receive a 5% discount.
Families with two students receive a 5% discount. Families of 3 or more students receive a 10% discount.
All payments for classes should be made out to Northville Ballet. Please refrain from paying tuition in cash. Thank you! We prefer checks or credit card payments.
If testing, the Cecchetti exam fee is due with the monthly payment prior to test.
A costume fee ($30-$50/costume) is due before each of our shows.
Monthly payments are due before the 5^th of each month, after this date an additional charge of $5 will be incurred. Any financial concerns should be directed to Charlyn Lambrecht at CharlynL@northvilleballet.com
Students taking lower level syllabus classes, in addition to required classes to progress on a fast track, will pay ½ the class fee for each additional class.
Basic class rates: 1 hour class – $14; 1.25 hour class – $15; 1.5 hour class – $16; 1.75 hour class – $17; 2 hour + class $18
